Ash Tree receptionists get training on board Bertha! Written by Hannah Warren on March 13th, 2012 Posted in Uncategorized, Vets in Desborough, Vets in Harborough District, Vets in Kibworth, Vets in Rothwell

Ash Tree Veterinary Practice’ s Market Harborough car park was visited yesterday by Bertha, the Onswitch Training bus!

Wendy Miller-Smith from Onswitch, a company specialising in providing training for the veterinary industry, conducted (excuse the pun!) two training sessions on board the double decker bus for  fifteen receptionists from all four of our branches to improve skills and share new ideas.

Wendy is a Qualified Veterinary nurse who has gathered extensive experience through her work in referral practice as well as in the animal care industry, held the position of Head of Department for Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing for a large agricultural college and worked as Education Officer for the BVNA. She now focuses her extensive experience and expertise on working to improve the reception skills of all veterinary staff within veterinary practice.
“That first contact can make or break a client’s experience” says Wendy.

Everyone who attended the training is looking forward to putting the new tips and ideas into practice!
